FREEMAN-PEDIA's EARLY MODERN LAND EMPIRES
FREEMAN-PEDIA's EARLY MODERN LAND EMPIRES
Freeman-pedia’s 10-page Early Modern Land Empires is a collection of the three major land empires (and two others mentioned elsewhere in the curriculum). Early Modern Land Empires covers the Ottomans, Mughals, Safavids, Tokugawa, and Russia. The only empire left off is the Qing/Manchu (this is contained in the Complete History of China). Early Modern Land Empires includes a map that covers all of the 6 empires and a chart comparing them to one another in terms of founders, MVPs, religions, and key events. The College Board requirements are also covered in the notes. All of this information is presented in a visually appealing manner including charts, images, landmarks, etc. This is a .pdf file that is easy to print for your binder or project onto a screen for your class.
