Throughout the year, we will have the opportunity to work with the Russian Language. This means we need to learn the Cyrillic alphabet and some common words and phrases.
Wait. That’s not a Russian word? I know. But, to understand the Russian language; you must first understand the Russian letters. The banner above says “ALPHABET” in literal letter translations. Below, are some exercises to help you

Let’s start with the PROBLEM LETTERS. These are the letters that make a completely different sound in Russian, than they do in English. These can be roadblocks in to reading Russian words because you are used to these meaning something different. Click the image below for the full worksheet:
